Now includes digital, interactive worksheets on Google Slides at no additional cost. Work on skip counting by 5s, 10s, and 20s while also teaching functional money skills of paying for items! This set of 60 worksheets works on knowing how much money items cost and paying with the correct amount (or more than enough when you don't have exact change).
Digital Worksheets on Google Slides: The digital worksheets on Google Slides are separated into 6 files to help you easily share the pages you need with the right students. You can edit directions on the first slide (ex. complete 2 pages, complete page 6). Student will drag over rectangles to "color in" the dollars and there is an optional bonus question on how much more they will get back if they paid with a next dollar over amount.
1. 5s - Exact Dollar
2. 5s - Next Dollar
3. 10s - Exact Dollar
4. 10s - Next Dollar
5. 20s - Exact Dollar
6. 20s - Next Dollar
Printable Worksheets: There are two levels, the first 30 worksheets (10 worksheets with each bill, $5, $10, and $20) have whole numbers and the student then colors in the exact number of money indicated on the price. The second 30 worksheets (10 worksheets with each bill, $5, $10, and $20) include prices with decimals, so the student colors in an amount that is just more that what they owe (ex. If the price is $23 and the student is doing the $20 worksheets, the student would color in (2) $20 bills). I have also included a worksheet the students can use to calculate change back on these worksheets.
I used this with my high school special education class. It is appropriate for any early learners and those working on counting by 5s, 10s, or 20s!
